Tot School: Letters D & E

Pumpkin is currently 18 months old.

With all the craziness that is my household, I haven't had much time for blogging about our Tot School Adventures! We've worked on both the Letters D and E over the past 2 weeks, so I'll combine them into one post to catch up.

Letter D!

We focused on Dinosaurs for Letter D. Pumpkin loves the show Dinosaur Train, so I figured this week would be an awesome opportunity to build on that show. Plus, there are lots and lots of resources available for Dinosaurs on the web! Here are a few of our activities.

The letter D for our Alphabet Book (from Now I Know My ABCs at Totally Tots)

We made a D out of pom poms:

And, of course, our Letter D collage:

There are also lots and lots of Mommy Made Printables available that we used as well! From 1+1+1=1, a Dinosaur Tot Pack:

And from Confessions of a Homeschooler:

We have the Melissa & Doug wooden Dinosaur magnets. Those are always fun to play with! We also have lots of dinosaurs that we acquired out of the dollar bins at WalMart, and a small set of dinos and rocks. Pumpkin loves to roar like a Dinosaur!

Letter E!
I don't have much for pictures of Pumpkin for our Letter E week. I do, however, have some pictures of our activities. We started the week by making the Letter E out of elbow macaroni.
He had so much fun with the elbows, that we had to get out another piece of paper and make a collage.

And we made a collage out of eyes cut out from a magazine.

We also worked with numbers a little bit. We found these Preschool Printables: Pom Pom Numbers from 1+1+1=1.

We made an E for our Alphabet Book, we had Enchiladas for dinner, and we had lots of fun with Elmo. Our Tot School time is always filled with happiness and laughter. I'm so glad that Pumpkin has so much fun with all of these activities.

And my favorite picture of the week:
This is what happens when you tell Pumpkin that Auntie would like some macaroni art. :)
