Tot School

~Pumpkin was 19 months old during Letter J week~

Well, we didn't get to as much during the past 2 weeks as we did during Letter I week. I stretched out Letter J into two weeks, because during the first week, Pumpkin didn't really want to do much when it came to Tot School. I had to get creative to get some learning activities in! The second week, however, he was much more willing.

Letter J
As always, we made a letter for our Alphabet Book, found on the Totally Tots website; however, I don't have pictures of it. I'm not sure why I forgot to take a picture of it! We also tried something new this week: the Letter J box.

I gathered all of the letter Js I could find, which included magnets! Pumpkin liked being able to put the magnets on the fridge, and then putting them back in the box, and so forth. I didn't have a shoebox available, so I used a clean take-out container, which served its purpose!

We also used some of the Letter J unit available at Confessions of a Homeschooler.

And of course, the Do-A-Dot markers. Pumpkin loves these.

Spring Fun
In order to get creative, we made sugar cookies in honor of Spring! When I put Pumpkin is his seat and pushed him up to the table, the first thing he did was... eat the cookies!
He was more interested in eating the cookies then decorating them, which is perfectly okay! The cookies didn't last long. :)

And my favorite picture of the week...
